Missions and Giving
Jesus tells us in Matt. 25: 35-40 that when we meet the needs of others, it is as if we are serving Christ Himself. Further, Acts 20:35 tells us that we are to work hard, remember the weak and remember that Jesus said “it is more blessed to give than to receive”. James 2:16- 17 tells us “and one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,' and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.”
At Northboro, we take these admonitions seriously and seek to fulfill God’s commands to serve others in various ways.

We give to a work in Honduras that is dedicated to helping individuals in Honduras escape extreme poverty. This includes giving them food and clothing as well as other basic necessities. To support this work you can:
Give funds directly to Tom or Reina Elsmore.
Make a donation to Northboro Church of Christ and designate it for the work in Honduras.
Make a donation directly to the ministry via PayPal. To do this choose “adoptafamilyfund@gmail.com" as the destination account within the PayPal app.

We give to a work centered in Miyapur, India. If you wish to contribute to this work, please make donations to the Northboro Church of Christ and designate the funds for the work in Miyapur.

As God leads us, we also support some local congregations who may have some short-term needs. These funds may be designated for particular projects, or just funds to be used as the church sees fit. To support other congregations you can:
Make a donation to Northboro Church of Christ and designate it for support of a particular congregation.
Donate to Northboro Church of Christ and designate it for Benevolence. In this case the donation will be used for whatever benevolence work is in most need.

We seek to be very sensitive to the needs of our local church family and provide them support as needed. This support may be spiritual through study and counseling or physical with meals, groceries, clothing, school supplies, etc.

Come by the church and drop an offering into our collection box. If you do not designate a particular ministry with your offering it will be added to our general funds.
Give via PayPal. The PayPal entry for the Northboro Church of Christ is “@northborococ”. The PayPal entry erroneously states that the church is in Shrewsbury, MA instead of Northboro, MA.
